Pangbourne House Montessori Nursery, which opened its doors in September 2015, embracing the esteemed Montessori ethos. Helmed by the renowned headmistress, Sophia Russell-Cobb, who previously led Ladbroke Square nursery for over three decades, this nursery thrives under her experienced leadership.
The learning environment at Pangbourne House is thoughtfully designed, featuring spacious and well-crafted areas, including covered outdoor provisions, an indoor hall, and a dedicated art room. As you step inside, you are welcomed by a warm and friendly atmosphere, providing children with a stimulating space for growth and learning, all guided by the principles of the Montessori philosophy.
Notably, the recent Ofsted report awarded Pangbourne House Montessori Nursery an ‘Outstanding’ rating across all areas, lauding the highly skilled manager and the remarkably confident and well-behaved children. The nursery’s commitment to excellence is evident in the high levels of development the children achieve, particularly in early reading, writing, and numeracy skills.
With two fully qualified teachers and eight staff members holding appropriate early years qualifications, children at Pangbourne House receive excellent teaching and individualized attention to nurture their potential.
Exciting news! The nursery has introduced ‘Little Pangbourne’ groups, catering to babies and toddlers aged between 8 months and two years, on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday mornings from 9:00 to 11:00. This Montessori-inspired curriculum offers an enriching experience for the littlest learners. Three mornings a week are available at £729 per term, with daily drop-ins possible when space permits.
Pangbourne House Montessori Nursery also offers optional extra lessons in ballet, French, and yoga, enhancing the children’s holistic development.
