Sudbrook nursery is a warm and welcoming environment with an excellent reputation within Richmond. It places itself in the centre of a strong community and has managed to provide exceptional support to families attending. The setting can have a maximum of 45 children aged between 2 and 5 years old and operates Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 12.15pm with the option of extended afternoons. The Bear Club offers parents a flexible childcare solution for one-two years olds to stay from 8am-4pm with access to a large garden and sleep area for napping. For working parents there is also the added bonus of a holiday camp onsite operating from 9-12:15 but with option to stay till 4 pm. The nursery employs nine staff all of which work directly with the children. Seven of the staff including the manager, hold appropriate early years qualifications. The nursery has a secure enclosed outdoor area that children are able to access safely on a daily basis with climbing equipment. Sudbrook has consistently been rated outstanding and that includes the most recent 2022 report. The nursery school has an impeccable safety record and procedures: “A strong emphasis is placed on children’s safety and security, subsequently children play and work feeling safe and secure.” Children go onto range of Richmond schools namely Fern Hill, The Old Vicarage, Kings House School and Sudbrook School.
