This Ofsted outstanding nursery opened 4 years ago in its current site and is the sister nursery to The Knightsbridge Kindergarten. Kensington Kindergarten benefits from a recently renovated bright, modern and attractive space which recreates the feel of many of the junior schools in the area. This impression is further supported by the smart red and blue uniform the children wear. There is a wonderful multi- sensory space, well sized classrooms and several communal spaces including an unexpectedly large, padded soft play room. There is a small but functional outside space which is ideal for the small groups that use it every day. Children are split into age groups and are given copious opportunities to develop key skills in communication, problem solving and crucially both their gross and fine motor skills. Challenging curriculum which provides opportunities to go beyond expectations in phonics, mark making and knowledge and understanding of the world.
